JJS Empowerment is a non-profit construction support organisation dedicated to helping young people pursue their dreams in the construction industry. With your help, we can provide the tools, training, and guidance they need to build a future they’ll be proud of.

Aspiring Plumber
Jeremy
Jeremy has set his sights on becoming a skilled plumber. During the COVID-19 lockdown, he had to shield for health reasons, causing him to fall behind in his studies. Despite these challenges, Jeremy is eager to gain hands-on experience and training to pursue a meaningful career in the trade.
Goal: Qualified Plumber
Aspiring Electrician
Jake
Jake has always had a passion for working with his hands and dreams of becoming a fully qualified electrician. He enrolled in a two-year electrical course but was repeatedly let down by staffing issues. Despite this setback, Jake remains determined to build a stable career in the electrical trade.

Aspiring Bricklayer
Sandor
Sandor has always looked up to his dad, a dedicated bricklayer, and hopes to follow in his footsteps. School wasn’t a positive experience, he and his sister often faced unkind treatment from classmates. Despite this, Sandor is eager to learn the trade and build a future doing meaningful, hands-on work
